CNBLUE is poised to make a much-anticipated return with their 10th mini album, titled ‘X’, set for release on October 14, 2024. This will be the band’s first new music in three years, following their last album, ‘Wanted’, released in 2021. The announcement comes just ahead of their concert, ‘CNBLUENTITY,’ scheduled for October 7, which has heightened excitement among fans.

The album ‘X’ not only marks their tenth release but also signifies the band’s considerable growth and an infinite future ahead. The title track, ‘Is It You or That Time (A Sleepless Night),’ is characterized as a medium-tempo rock song featuring a distinctive whistle introduction. The lyrics draw inspiration from poet Ha Sang-wook, delving into themes of lingering memories of a past relationship.

As CNBLUE approaches their 15th anniversary, they are showcasing a more mature sound, with Jung Yong-hwa’s vocals becoming deeper and more emotive over the years. The contributions from band members Kang Min-hyuk and Lee Jung-shin are expected to further enrich the listening experience, reinforcing CNBLUE’s established presence in the music industry despite the passage of time.
