(G)I-DLE’s fourth mini album, *I burn*, marks the continuation of their “I” series with a powerful exploration of emotions following a breakup. This album follows the success of their previous hits “Oh my god” and “DUMDi DUMDi,” shifting to a more somber and introspective mood. The album is built around the idea that a breakup isn’t truly over until all memories are forgotten, and it delves into the process of healing and regaining happiness. Through its visuals and storytelling, *I burn* portrays a journey from the pain and emptiness of separation to the eventual blooming of new hope, symbolized by a red flower that emerges from the wounds.

The tracks on *I burn* each contribute to this narrative, starting with “Han(寒)” which expresses the coldness and loneliness of betrayal and separation.
